This is the European regulation on deforestation. This regulation aims to minimize the consumption of products from supply chains associated with deforestation or forest degradation, and to increase demand for and trade in legal, “deforestation-free” raw materials and products.

The EUDR was adopted by the European Union in May 2023 and will come into force in December 2024. Micro and small businesses will be granted a 6-month extension.
